idle problems

when u set the tensioner it will move the cam gears a little so I would see if that is the problem. I had to adjust mine 5 or 6 times before I was satisfied with it. Check the CAS and put it about center on the holes, then u can fine tune it from there. Also check your crank mark cause it come up TDC like every 2 turns I think so it could be off there too from what I have heard in other cases.

If you've checked the timing and it's spot on, then it's on. The belt can still be loose. Set your ignition timing, though. A simple tutorial is in the service manual.

You need to set the base timing with the cas not dsmlink.
You do need to ground timing and ground diagnostic in the dsmlink though.
Once the timing is set then unhighlight them.
