Default nonturbo head on turbo block, will it work

i have a 91 awd tsi, it broke the timing belt. my buddy just wrecked his eclipse with a nonturbo 4g63, im pretty sure that they are the same year, they both have the flip up lights. can i put his head on my block and will evberything match up and work correctly?

Why not search the for sale posts or dsmtuners.com for a used turbo head? Or even a junkyard?

Yes they are the same. The only difference is the cams.

cams are the same i used n/a cams on my tsi...and to be on the safe side i reserached it at autozone both n/a and turbo cams are the same. and i dont think you can put any cam in because the cams and the rolers wear a certain way not to mention where the cam is bolted down.so by just putting in any cams off of a tsi you might be asking for trouble......but im not %100 sure on this either...
