i am getting ready to buy a gts and the guy said he had a new motor and head put on it and it has some oil in the crankcase and he hasnt drove the car for a while since he noticed it. I plan on getting the car, changing the oil and driving it 4 hours to jax to dtermine the problem i am wondering if after the oil change it will be okay to make the drive

what could cause water to get into the oil more than likely its a bad head gasket but it could also be a head what about a cracked block. Head and gasket can be fixed. The car would over heat and prolly leak everywhere if it was the block, correct?

It if has over heated badly before, it may also be that the head got warped and is not seating correctly on the block. Just another thing to think about.
