100 bucks for a mint 14b is hard to pass up...

and julian if your trying to be funny with the money thing.. you have no idea about my financial situation.

I have a life outside of cars.. I'm trying to make a reliable fast DD..

I really want a 14b w/ a 7cm ex housing to be different.. and keep the cost down..

Porting the housing isnt going to really do anything.
A 14b just isnt a 3rd or 4th gear turbo.
If you want alittle more power get your a/f and timing curve set right.

I wanna say a used spray kit is usually around $250.Jerry was selling a 16g minus the exhaust housing for around $300 recently.Either way will pull hard up top and make sure your maxed out tunning whats left out of your current setup.

Take a good look at the inlet to the turbos exhaust housing. You see how small the hole gets. Now do you really think making the opening to the exhaust housing real big just so it can taper way down again is doing anything.
The answer is no. All you want is for the exhaust manifold outlet and tubo inlet to match. And that doesnt mean making them both real big.

ahhhh idk..

I cant find a decent 16g (MHI) for 225-250 locally.
