Default 3rd & 4th gear pull

what can I do to a 14b car to help 3rd & 4th gear pull?

it seems like whatever car that has vtec or a turbo walks me in those gears..

upgrading to a 14b will help but there still weak in the upper RPM's

what is there to do to it to help me out??!

Mine is slower down low,but pulls ahrd up top..

Spray it?

really?

is it slow down low because of traction?

14b's spool like whoaaa and end outta steam at like 6300

how is the 3rd and 4th gear pull as opposed to the skittle?

It will still be much much better then your T25, which is all done by 5500.Some FP1 cams would definantly help out too. Even going to a 14b from a t25 will make your car ran much harder up top.

To help the top-end pull of a 14b, you simply have to upgrade to a turbo bigger than a 14b. Either that, or just cope with low-6000 rpm range shift points. Even my friend's Evo 16g runs out of steam around 6800, airflow starts dropping off. He has some comp 200's to drop in which may help, but the turbo just isn't big enough to maintain the same airflow after 7000 rpm.

porting the ex housing would help right?

or just throwing on a 7cm ex housing?

maybe thatd help a bit past 6k?

Dude I told you already you have to get a bigger turbo. Get a 16g or 20g and be done with it.

Definitely not traction issues,second does'nt even spin 2nd. ..It pulls hard enough to start pulling a 350z with exhuast though.

My car pulls hard till around 6500-6700

God damn,I can't wait til 20 psi...!!!ahhhhhhhh

The Skittle would of left this thing standing still..But keep in mind,im only at 10psi for now (FIRST BOOST LEAK YESSS!!)...At 20lbs,I think I may of given the ol' skittle a decent run..This cars turbo is ported,as well the throttle body and such also...Time will tell as to what goes down with this one.
