Well from what i can tell it stays at a consistent tick. It doesn't increase or decrease when the rpms change. But Jason(Gst Racer) might have to correct me on that...

well it doesnt really get louder or anything....as the rpms go up it gets faster though. when the rpms are like 600 or 700, its a slower tick tick tick tick . but no it doesnt get louder or anything.

My 89 Camaro had a knock pretty bad, but when I stepped on it the knock was louder and faster dont know if its the same about DSMs or not. If it is a knock put the heaviest oil you can find in and sell it immediatly.
