Well.. Couple of people have been waiting for this issue for along time. it was suppose to be the " march " issue. but i guess it's been delayed couple of times. Go pick it up!! alot of really fucking nice evos.. their goal was to break 1000whp. It was mainly all AMS built cars, and this was hosted over in Ft Lauderdale @ fynetune.

It was an interesting trip getting those cars done. The article doesnt go that much into detail of our weekend fun and shooting cars under bridges at 3am in miami. The hangar was the best part. The people that ran that executive airport were great and so very accomodating.

It was a fun and not fun time all at once and Fyne Tune in Miami was amzing for letting us take over their entire shop for a full day. One of the most interesting parts was when the gold car blew. We were on our way to the bidge for the cover shoot and he was following us. Since I have a sun pass, I blew through the toll, btu he had to stop. In an effort to cath up, he gased it part throttle to about 25psi and it popped. About 30 seconds later he call complaining that he thinks something fell off (turned out to be his piston) the car, cause he heard something metal drop off, and it feels down on power at which point we told him to pull over. When we finally got back to him, we could see the entire back of the car covered in a film of oil....sucked. For the cover shoot, it was busted complete with oily trunk. Fun times. Neat article. Just finished reading the overview; haven't started on the individual car rundowns. One thing that caught my eye- a shop in Tampa who promised an AWD Dynojet and didn't deliver? Who the heck was that? If anybody knows but would prefer not to start any potential drama, PM me as I'm curious.

Articles like these always reveal just how finicky these high horsepower cars are. Helps cut through little Timmy's plans to build that 1000whp daily-driver Evo that crop up on the boards all too often.

 

I know....as I was the one that set it up. A hint is they still dont have one. They were supposed to the week before the article, but two days before we were supposed to be there, the owner called me to ask if it could be pushed back, this while cars were already on their way. Of course the answer was no. Its one of the only decently import known shops in tampa without a dyno fo some sort, but that all I'll say on that.
