Talking Should i sell my Big 16g and go 50 trim?

First i have a question about my clutch. It dosnt seem to be slipping but i feel a def power loss. I have a front wheel drive turbod car with a 16g turbo and the only traction loss i have is in the top of first gear and when i dump the clutch. I have seen 14b turbos loose traction in mid of second gear and im not seeing anywhere near that kind of power. Could me not having that kind of power be a result of my oem clutch not being able to handle the horsepower my new setup is putting out? Both wheels spin on my gst however i am not sure if its lsd or just the way 2g eclipse transmissions are setup. I am not complaining about having traction and my car does pull however it seems a little weird to me. Im only on 10lb without my injectors in and im not tuned. Maybe thats not even enough boost for the 16g to have any real effect performance wise.

My wheel hp goal is 350 however i want to have the ability to have more power by just changing the injectors and pumping up the boost.

I am thinking of going 50trim however i am not sure if that is the smartest decision. I want to go external wastegate so lmk what you guys think. what is the best setup? I am planing on purchasing a maf translator so i can vent and use a blow through maf. My price range is going to be 400-800 for the turbo the lower the better. 50 trim turbo Suggestions?

Setup now
1998 Eclipse Gst
-big 16g
-550 injectors
-afc neo
-external dump o2
-2g mani
-fmic
-evo 8mr bov
-190 fuel pump
-short route piping
-2.5 downpipe 3" from the cat back

I probally have a couple other things not listed but nothing major.

well at 10lbs youre not getting the potential of it,stick with 16g,they are fun, quick spooling turbos that definately make 350

You havent even reached the 16gs potential and you want to go bigger? Have your car tuned properly and you will be loads happier.

yeah, you can be tuned for way more boost right now. If you cant figure out how to use the potential of that turbo first, then buying a 50 trim will be pointless.

max out that 16g, when second gear is a thing of the past, you decide then. that'll basically be when you need race gas or meth to go any faster.

This must be a joke, I was running 20psi on my 16g on 450cc injectors and a 255 walbro pulling like a bat out of hell and second gear was nuts and I'm awd. Turn it up man atleast to 16psi and enjoy it!

right now im just waiting to get into the tuner. As soon as i can get in im hoping to boost around 18lb. I just dont like my current setup. Not saying that the 16g is too small but i feel that if i am spending the money i might want to just go a little bigger.

Ill max out the 16g and go from there

well, if you go to a 50 trim, its gonna be the same thing as your 16g if you dont do any supporting mods. do enough supporting mods where you can max out your 16g, but it will also be ready for a 50 trim.
or at least thats what i did, and it worked pretty good. i had my 16g at 27psi, it hauled, then i went to the FP3052 and slapped it on and ran 27psi, didnt have to change anything. if you just go bigger, its going to be just as limited as the smaller setup basically
