timing off= turbo lag?
Sounds like an exhaust leak pre-trubo or a boost leak

well the reason i thought it might be the timing is because this started happening after i changed the headgasket. the only thing i took apart as far as turbo/exhaust is the exhaust manifold from the head. the only thing i can see as far as a boost leak is the bov since its recirculated, and the car isnt running rich or anything. ill just have to go out and check over the exhaust stuff (basically manifold and wastegate so not much to check there). also while the head was off i put some compressed air to the wastegate (i forget why), you think that coulda messed something up in the wastegate?
