A/F ratio gauge stays...like I said...just something to fill the hole that was like 25 bucks haha.

Definitely see what you can come up with on that buzzer if you don't mind. I will be on like 20psi for a little while so I am not TOO worried about destruction, not saying that it won't happen

One thing I am dead set on is getting an Evo8 ecu in my car though. Just a project on the side I want to do and I know it can be done
Or you could just get a 2pillar pod instead of three
As far as thr IAT's, I did my cold air intake recently.
In case you were interested, go to home depo motorsports, pick up a 4x3" pvc pipe with a 90* bend. It will cost you like 7 bucks. Cut out the metal that sits right under the filter ( fairly easy to cut and once youve got it going you can even bend it out the way.)
Connect THE 4in side of the pvc pipe to your mas adaptor, and then connect the 3in side to your filter. Depending your intercooler routing you may have to manipulate things into place but it will work. Just make sure you have everything connected good so the filter doesnt fall off when your driving, happened to me once and rolled under my tire lol.
The broke person I am, I found a way to reuse the filter temporarily by bending it back into shape and stuff lol.

Well keep in mind about rain, i am going to make a splash shield and what not, and dont hit any puddles or boost when its raining, but other than that its a great mod... Theres been reports of people dropping 30 degs with just removing their right head light housing in front of the intake,

REMOVE your headlights at the track -20*F drop - DSM Forums

therefore I know this will gain even more since your putting the filter completley out of the hot engine bay... Expect 40deg temp drops, you will notice the difference...

Also to add, for those of us running smaller turbos ( i.e. 16gs etc )
This gain will benefit more as densor air getting drawn in will allow for more overall air to be compressed post intercooler, therefore more air flow especially in higher rpm/ pressure ratios. That would explain why i gained a 2psi spike after the cold air intake with changing nothing else !!!

Ill pm you pics of my cold air intake set up if your interested.

about the CAI, i was thinking of cutting out the highbeam in the headlight, putting a pipe through the headlight, and putting a peice or metal after the light to point toward the air filter. there are also those side vents on the bumpers that you can run some pipe or dryer ducting to your filter from.

Yea I dont know exactly what it involves in doing it, I thought of something like that but am too lazy to do the effort. Id get a spare head light from the junkyard if your going to attempt just in case...
I still think my cai is more effective due to placing it out of the engine bay. All I used was this

and then cut out this

which put the filter here

Sorry about the size...
And one more thing, i paint the pvc pipe black so it doesnt look that bad actually...

can someone please explain to me the difference in a 6 bolt and 7 bolt? other than the 7 being unreliable and having rodknock (from what i hear).

6bolt has thicker rods, can handle more stress.
It Isnt prone to crank walk like the 7bolt....
Has different sized head ports and bigger intake manifold/ tb.
6bolt came on 89-92 1g Dsms. 7bolt stated late yr 92 up.
Rod knock has nothing to do with engine design or build... Rod knock means
the engine is damaged due to poor octane/fuel/ poor tune, leading to detonation
or from running improper oils/ or from not having any oil at all and running the engine dry or with low oil pressure...
