why because im actually trying to get a car that i can use while i rebuild my ls1 from the ground up again or do you posibly have a block and crank dat i can use to rebuild cause thats my resson dsm are cheap enough and good to have fun with thats my logic it sucks when you are driving a 450hp beast everday to work and back wearing it down and sucking up that great 93 octane mang! resson why i say crank and block cause the rest is cheap shit thats the money banger so if you know a place where i can get one give me a heads up at a steal

You're talking to someone who owns a 2001 z28 m6 that has ~7 years experience in DSM's ranging from changing brakes to complete race motor builds/turbo setups.

Don't be dumb. A fast/fun DSM is not "cheap" if done right and dependable.

I have enough stuff laying around my shop to build about 5 motors. So if you're a real glutton for punishment let me know.

300hp dependable DSM built right will cost you $3000-$4000. IMO

If you're looking for a replacement LS1 or to build also let me know.

Show me a dependable well built proven 300hp DSM for $1500. You can't even buy a stock complete one that hasn't been ****** rigged for that much these days.

Oh yea and AWD cause FWD is useless except in a track only purpose built race car.

I good condition AWD shell goes for around $500-$1000 and that's if you get a 1g and not counting a 2g or a Gvr4. And we both know you can't find a good condition 6bolt longblock for $500 these days....

You can not get a dependable 300hp DSM for $1500 unless you buy one from someone that already put $3000+ into it.

I have 2 LS1's here at the shop but I use them as cores. They are worth more to me that way then selling them out due to how high they cost these days. Last time I saw a ls1 longblock for sale in good condition it went for over $3500!

Have you driven in a fwd car that makes decent power with no LSD? It will make you think again!

I'm just trying to be the voice of reason. Take it or leave it.

Although I'm still waiting on cyloc to show me a $1500 dependable 300hp DSM. LOL
