Default the best way to temp fix a valve cover.

I was pulling the valve cover off tonight and it was dark so I missed one of the bolts, so here is what happened when I tried to pry it off !

Is JB weld the best thing for this?

Damn you have a new thread every day.

JB weld should work, as long as you apply it properly and give it a chance to cure.
Or you may have to hit up the junkyard.

looks l'll be walking my bum ass to the autozone around the block for some JB weld. I'm going to see about picking up a powder coated valve cover, either candy blue or metallic gray. what is the cure time for JB weld??? I'm going to put the jb weld on the outside, I don't want to risk any of that crap falling off and onto my pretty valve train.

This is not a big deal, I can temp fix it and buy another valve cover. after the crap I went through last week this is just a small inconvenience.

How's the clutch coming?

I used the black quick drying crap, seems to be holding fine, but it's ugly as hell.
