"What if we had 4 small meets every month, but each one in the far reaches of the tampa bay area? Maybe the first saturday of the month it could be east in Lakeland, the second saturday could be north in the north dale mabry/new tampa area, the third west in st. pete, and the last south in sarasota? Maybe not those exact locations but kinda have the meets spread out evenly so everybody in the tampa area has as good of a chance to make it to a meet as everybody else. Just another suggestion anyway, id really like to see a monthly meet organized."

I like this idea, if we have a meet every week, and each week we move to another spot. That wud making it easier for everyone to start meeting up...everytime theres a meet organized, it involves me traveling to the far corners of fl...(which I havent yet). So lets get some spots in the air..
Ill rep for my area...in New Tampa/Lutz, theres spots everywhere...I work at Dunkin donuts. which is a str8 spot..we cud meet at Bruce B Downs Dunkin and we can ride out to Land O Lakes' Dunkin(15-20 mins) seeing as they wont kick me or us out...Land O's is 24hrs and sometimes hondas stop thru on the way to a meet another 10 mnis towards wesley chapel....

any one else ... lets pick 4 spots and then agree to start this in December...

 

Probably wont happen man. Us dsmers in this forum can never meet up no matter how much advance is given. It seems most of us work too much, or are older and have kids and such, or flat out just dont have time. For me personally I cant commit to anything and go by spur of the moment type shit. Meets really only work for Honda kids since they are all 16 and have nothing better to do. Much love though, appreciate the effort, maybe Ill be proven wrong...

 

I don't think a weekly meet would work, perhaps monthly or every two months we meet and rotate locations like Needfstwheelz said. I'm all for it but like Neesan said, alot of us can't make it, no matter how much time in advance we know about it.

 

4 meets a month won't work...it barely works for anyone in the car scene let alone just DSMs

 

howabouts a meet in january at the track on a sunday?
that way we can BS AND run our cars.

I really would love to actually go to one meet to put all the god damn names with faces for once. But like the rest of you guys it would really look like not till next year money wise with the car and the plague of little problems I always seem to have. I am commiting to the All We'll Drive event in January if any of you guys are doing that.

 

^i would REALLY like to try to make it out to that. Seems like a whole lot of fun, trying to get this motor dropped in and i'm set.

 

Why dont you fuckers go to the awd meet in Jan so Im not the only one amongst a ton of subarus and evos. The 1st two awd meets i went to were fun and well organized.
