You cant really compare other motors especially if they are forged.
I used to run a 175 shot wet kit on my Z28. it was a stock motor with no ignition retard. I did this for a few years before selling it with no problems.
I sure as hell wouldn't recommend trying this on a V6 mitsu motor though.

 

A bottle heater really is a must when using nitrous, people fail to realize how important bottle pressure is.

 

Wait. Im an idiot when it comes to NOS. Ive never looked twice at it. We can run a 50 shot without even having the engine blink at it?

Well its not a ZEX kit, its a kit made by COMPUCAR. It is a realy good kit and it was actually made for mustangs. It has a bottle warmer by NOS, NOS purge solinoid and it does have a micro switch. It came off of my other buddys MACH 1 but he was running 125shot. For $350 cant go wrong and I know the history of the NOS kit because I was the one who installed it in the mustang when it was new. It only has 4 passes on the drag strip in sunshine so the kit is still like new condition.
