A friend of mine drives a 09' camry stock( and a blue Ek) was convinced he would pull on my car bcause "eclipses are slow." I told him i needed a gasket on my turbo...and then we would do it on Sat night. Friday night I met up with Mightymaxgst (chris) and he helped me out and changed nd gapped my spark plugs..I did my oil and the gasket previous that night. After he does that my car is driving like the day i bought it ( not to mention the big 16G and the fact that i took the boost selnoid restrictor out).

It rains all saturday so i think the race isnt gonna happen but at about 12 we all met up...
So I raced the camry ( a 20 roll 40 roll and a dig, i guess having almost 300hp counted 4 something)...and i lost but then i pulled on the 97' 325 (he started @ a 40 roll 2 cars ahead of me)...

we went to a spot to set up the next race (I was gonna race the bimmer from a dig) then hes like "oh im the drift king" yada yada and pulls off and tries to drift... he nails a curb in the parking lot where theyll have like a tree and some grass on it, all 4 tires in the air nails the tree and flaceplants his front end str8 into the concrete. I was Blown !!! go to check on him and hes just going nutz man...so much damage for nothing...

by now the mazda 3speed, ef and camry are here laughing their asses off. I felt bad for the guy in all reality. I wish i left after our 1st race..

Some how through all the bullshit I failed to recognize the new gasket i replaced less than 24 hrs ago is completly blown to shreds. I drove to tampa and saw it when i was at a gas station...and i could hear the leak as I sputtered down the road. there are micro pieces of metal all over my engine .. so here i am sunday waiting for another gasket to arrive. If this one doesnt work..Chris said hes got a nice one im buying off of him.

maybe it was cause of the restrictor being taken out combined with the fact my turbo only had 3 bolts in it.. and i saw the conection on my intake to crank case was off as well so im up for another run when thats all taken care of. and my damn oil pressure guage sensor wire was off...im still convinced that effects the cars performance..

 

lol wow yawl are some losers lol. especially the so called "drift king" HAHAHA yupp def sounded like a crazy weekend.

i just fixed her...new gasket, and she still runs fine, but im not getting on it, i never did prior to fixing it for this race, which was technically pointless. I gotta get to work and cant afford to cause any more problems.

 

one bolt being lose caused a leak that caused my car to backfire so it blew the gasket so missing one bolt could be your problem.

 

i was thinking that but now im scared to even get on that shyt...i only drove 2 and frm work...and gave it about 3 or 4 runs later that night. I normally had driving issues but when Chris changed my plugs ....all that was gone. So i wanna push it but theres this little voice thats always in my ear telling me to relax. I just hope i dont pull up on any ss cobalts. I wanna race one as close 2 stock as pssible...

 

dude i use tohave a SS/SC cobalt an it was defently faster down low then my dsm is i mean lik 0-100 an the cobalts got it hands down

 

well like i said i hope i dont pull up on one...because we will have 2 race...

 

LOL my friend has a colbalt ss and wants to run...but thats not happening for a long time. And i think when my eclipse is rebuilt is will destory an ss. but who knows. Gl with your car its nice as hell Do you go out to causeway much?
