Yup that would do it. And using old pumps that you dont know the history on and not checking them before installing them. But other than that they are very strong pumps I rev numberous 2.0 pumps to 9500rpms and still running strong to this day. I feel bad for karim but we already got a brand new one from mitsu we should have it out soon running strong. We are also thinking of changing a few other things nothing major.

 

Wtf. Why would Karim or anyone reuse those parts knowing they're from a previously bad motor? Is he trying to save money? If so, he might want to get into another "hobby". That's rediculous to loose a motor like that

Its a costly lesson for him but one that he wont make again we got him a brand new oem oil pump from mitsu. We are going to make sure he covers all the bases on this one.
