Installed my 4g64! Damn that tranny mount is a bitch lol. Dropped the crossmember after fucking around for 15 minutes then it went right in haha.

sure it does. you wont get away from the 420a shit. that motor is SHIT. dont put another 420a in it put a 4g63 in it. if your not good enough to do the swap sell the car and buy one with a 4g63 already in it

Just finished hooking all the wires up on the E-Manage. I did not feel like getting the 'real' harness for it...

Finishing up my swap...did the alternator and p/s + belts, installed turbo, fuel rail, igniter ect... hooked up wiring harness, shift cables, coolant hoses.... all thats left really is to install and fill clutch line/res, install/fill radiator,throttle cable, and hook up the intercooler piping! hopefully I can get it started tonight... |

Had the wife's GSX towed to the shop today. She was driving on the highway when the car locked up. She managed to get it to the side of the highway.
Once back at the shop, I found that the trans had broken. It was in 2 gears at once. I guess it may be time for me to part this bitch out. I did not want it from the beginning, but she did. I knew we were going to get fucked with this car. So if you guys have any friends up north looking for parts let me know. It is a 99 gst converted to gsx with black leather. It has lots of new parts, including axles, hubs, control arms, clutch, and more. |

So after a 4 hour wiring adventure. I'm damn near done with this car.... I still have to install the evo im, 1g tb, interior, finish the batter relocation, re-adjust the suspension, have drew make ic pipes/ fix the exhaust/ tune the car. Oh also have to drink off the burns from soldering above my head, while on my back for those 4 hrs tonight.

Just gotta chase down a nasty vacuum leak (15 inches at idle lol) and change my fuel injector seals...oh and the goddamn waterpipe o-ring is leaking lol. At least its the t-stat side. |

Fixed some of the body work on the eclipse that was not done correctly by previous owner. Got 2 tires replaced due to a blow out. Still got a long list of stuff to do but the list is getting a little shorter

got a new cold air from got boost? and a triple pillar pod. the new cold air made a HUGE difference from the one one the car before but now my exhaust sounds like hell so i need a new muffler and to delete my cat

Take your time, use wire loom, shrink tube, take your time. The better you do the job now the longer it will last.
