Default New 2g 6bolt 2.3stroker dsm owner!!!!

Well, my name is Felipe. Not new to cars, but new to gsx, I used to own a 97 GS back in the day, sold it and went through alot of cars and ended working and building Audis. Strong cars nentheless, BUT ####ing expensive!!!!!! So i wanted to set aside those cars and just daily drive my girls 99 GTRS audi A4, and my StgII 2000 Audi S4.
2g dsm has always cought my attentio, i love this body style and love their power plant, so finally came across this 97 GSX with a 6 bolt 2.3 strocker 20g eclipse.
Car needs alot of TLC before i can get it to where i want it to be.
Per the previous owner, he said that he bought the 97 gsx rolling chassis and a 1g with the 2.3 stroker to swap into 2g, but he never got to finish it and needed the money. The motor is in the car, but it has alot of plugs, cut cables, and shit that still need to be work on. I wrench alot so that would not be an issue for me. I know my way around Audis, but i am brand new to this platform. I am very excited to know you guys, the forum, and get this little project on the way.

here are some details on the car:

97 gsx with 83k miles
6 bolt 2.3 stroker kit with ~5k miles
20g turbo
some type of lowering springs
Eagle rods and pistons
FMIC
Arp head studs
Cometic head gasket
3” exhaust cat back

this is some things that need to be done to it:
Turbo needs to be connected, with oil lines
Needs windshield and back glass
Need transfer case bolts
Needs clutch bled
Trans fluid needs to be put in
brake calipers may be shot

Felipe

If you know your way around these swaps and know what you are doing and want to lend a hand, please let me know asap. I can throw in some beer and cash as well. I need this car running asap.

thanks

Felipe

I had the same front mount on my spyder, never could get it to line up right. Finally removed it and went with a short route, now everything fits just right. Thanks to darkside performance the new one fits right and looks right, the old one never sat straight.
