Default Intake FULL of oil, whats the deal?

I noticed the other day that there was oil dripping out of my air filter. Yes, thats right, coming OUT of the air filter. Wow.

First thing I checked was the PCV/check valve, which seemed to be sticking. So I changed it with another one. It tests fine up to about 15psi (which is my max boost). Two days later I pulled the air filter, and once again, it is soaking in oil.

So today I pulled all the intercooler pipes and the core itself to clean them out. Im hoping it was all just oil that was pooling in the core working its way through the pipes, but at the same time there is so much oil Im thinking my turbo might be on its way out. What do you guys think?

Here are the pics:

Oil is even blasting out of the BOV

Here is a closeup of the compressor...

Ok now this is the part that has me worried. The "coolant" I have right now is light orange from a rusty ass coolant system I've been flushing recently. Im thinking that it looks like coolant and oil are mixing here. But everywhere else it looked uniform? This is the lowest point in the system btw.

And here it is after I poured it out..

Yikes...

So I did a compression test to make sure its not just blowby or a cracked headgasket, and I came up with 200, 198, 196, 198. Which is almost perfect for my engine.

Right now Im going to Walmart to get a clear filter I can put in-line with my valve cover breather hose to monitor how much oil is getting through there.

If anyone has any insight it would be much appreciated

You need a catch can! Also, use the largest diameter tubing you can of the valve cover vent. Clean the PCV out with brake cleaner too, that helped me.

Should I really be losing that much oil into the intake though? Seems like alot. I mean I would have to add like half a quart between oil changes at least.

Its a new PCV, cleaned it anyway lol. Seals fine. I have the biggest tube I can fit per your reccomendation

I just did two second gear pulls and got no oil through the breather. Then I did a 0-120 and got about half an ounce in there. Still seems like alot.

turbo return is blocked or not big enough. forces oil past seals

Hm. Its a stock 2g line cut, with a rubber hose in place of the accordion part. I cleaned it out about 3500 miles ago when I changed the engine. It didnt have any goo in it then. I guess Ill pull it and look.

Could high oil pressure be causing the same thing? Essentially making the drain "too small"?

Here is the oil in the filter after a 1st-4th pull

And this is probably unrelated but I get a bunch of shit spraying around this area...it drips off of the turbo coolant lines and the bottom of the compressor housing and the wastegate.

You need to sit down and have a good conversation with your turbo and ask it wtf is up. All the oil and even coolant is coming from your turbo, like Jerry said check for a blockage in the return line. If it's not blocked or pinched take the turbo off and have it checked.

Haha, you'll have to be stern with the turbo but don't go too far and break his spirit!

well i do know he's waiting to bump up the turbo, but i doubt he wants to because he's gonna be forced to lol

i think monday or tuesday i'm gonna give him my oil pressure gauge and see exactly what the hell he's running at..
