I seriously thought about switching, until I realized that JOKIEMR has been using Mobil 1 for 80,000 miles and 50,000 on the FP Red without 1 issue.

Him and I were talking about it yesterday, and even though he ordered a case of it, he still is unsure wether or not he needs it.

For my HTA car I am sticking with Mobil 1 15-50, since I have not had any issues.

If I had a black though, I would def. run Penn and just deal with the weekly oil changes lawl

So are other synthetics different than Mobile 1? Like Pennzoil Platinum or the new one called Ultra or something?

Motorcraft 15w40 diesel oil was suggested to me. It also has a synthetic version but, I know the conventional oil can be bought at walmart for about $15 for 5 quarts. It has a decent zinc content and an API classification of CJ-4/SM.
