Default Shop review FFTec/SGP/JESTR Tuning,w/ dyno results

Just thought I’d drop in for an update and thank the folks that put a lot of time into getting my car running well. I recently moved from northern California to Florida a few months ago, so I haven't posted much while I've been settling in. When I first arrived to Tampa, I quickly found out that E-85 would be a distant memory (5 miles away from where I lived). Luckily there's no shortage of 93 octane here, so that's a big relief. I could immediately tell I wouldn’t have the time needed to self tune my car, so I called around to a few shops and decided to go with John at JESTR Tuning and all his years of experience (tuning DSM’s since 96) for a good tune.
I showed up to Central Florida Turbo and after a few setup adjustments I ended up making 390hp on the stock ignition. A few pulls later, John let me know that the spark would just not stop blowing out somewhere over 415hp on the Mustang dyno. I told him that I had a coil on plug setup (made by Southern Grind Performance) in the trunk that might make a difference. Here’s how it ended up with my slightly more than conservative tune: 481hp/465tq @ 27psi
Surprisingly, he said that it was capable of over 500 with some more timing and a few more pounds of boost, but after sparingly driving my car for the last 2 and a half months I’m pretty happy. He also commented on how well everything worked, so I’d like to thank Sean, Dave, and Jesse at FFTec (in Cali) for their careful attention to detail when times were really tough and things were really F’ed up, Brandon at Southern Grind Performance (SGP) for the COP that gave the car the spark it really needed, and to John at JESTR Tuning who eventually brought it all together on the dyno. Thanks guys, hopefully a low 11second time or better will follow soon.

Nice numbers. Is this an Evo or a DSM? What turbo?

Great numbers. I've did a lot of research and a lot of people are happier with the 64mm cover than the 80mm

Great results, and solid mod list. Welcome to Tampa!

And is that a scan or digital pic of your dyno sheet? I can barely read it heh.
