i have found this turbo from precision.

i want to flow a lot of air but i want a quick spool, so should i go with the 43 A/R or 63 A/R housing?

that turbo is a laggy pig with both housings. far better turbo choices out there.
start with your HP goals or better yet how much money you have to make your car fast and what parts you currently have and i can give you some good advice on what to use.

 

my goal is right at 420whp. i have laggy super 20g turbo, big fmic, 560cc injectors, fuel pump 255lph, intake, 3in exhaust, safc, boost controller. i just want to boost faster and make it sppollike the stock turbo did. i also have a head being built for it aswel but its not on the car yet.

 

i dont want to spend more then like $900.

 

Um. Which 20g is that? td05 or td06? Either way, you have plenty of turbo for that power level. No reason to upgrade. Are you sure you dont have any exhaust/boost leaks and all your gaskets are good?

How much boost do you run right now? And when does it spool? I have a td06 20g and it hits 15psi by 3100rshared_pm. Yeah I have a 2.4...but still you should be getting full boost by like 3600-3800...that is not a laggy turbo.

ahh i miss the linear power of a 20g why not get bigger injectors retune then see how you feel? and also get a better tuning device an AFC can only do so much

 

I would need to drive your car to see if the turbo is the problem or the setup. I have seen the hahn 20g spool pretty nice on 2g cars.

Most likely best turbo for your needs is FP 68 HTA.

 

20g is really fast spooling turbo. fp green is really good for that power level but i think its like the same thing. I have pte6262 and i hit fulll boost at 6k haha

 

I think my downfall is I have crappy godspeed super 20g. How much does the haun run? I want big airflow without mad boostlag
