Default Auto to 5-spd swap...

How hard is it to do an auto to 5-spd swap? I'm only asking because I found a really clean shell but it's auto haha. I'm not willing to give up my manual transmission. Thanks guys.

i think on this one to do it right you need... full wiring harness, ecu, axles, transmission, slave, master, clutch pedal assembly, linkage assembly, shifter assembly, drill a hole in the fire wall for the master cylinder, cluster, center plastic around the shifter, i think that about covers it.

Fixed....

You only need to change your cluster if it bothers you. If it is awd, then your gonna need a t-case and have to switch out the rear diff due to ring gear differences.

My car is a 5 spd, but the shell i'm thinking about getting is an auto. So i'll have everything from my car to swap over. i'm hoping it wont be to bad since i'll have my car as a referance the whole time haha

lol, I just swapped an auto to a manual, then swapped a manual to an auto and am now in the process of swapping an auto back to a manual and all done within the last 6 months, but please don't listen to anything I have to say... GL I'm out
