stupid fuel line on the fuel pump

Default stupid fuel line on the fuel pump

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't the fitting on the large fuel line that bolts to your fuel pump spin independently of the hose it is attached to so that the whole line doesn't twist as you take it off and put it on?

son of a bitch I can't get it to do it. Would be safe to use pb blaster and let is soak?

yea that would be alot better than trying to force it and breaking it. old parts need tlc when handling an sometimes a little lube too hahah

to bad its a fuel line i'd put money on it that a little heat from some torch action would free it up too lol

Great info guy...lol.

No, actually, it doesnt spin. You have to disconnect the line from under the car in front of the RR wheel...then you will be able to screw the rubber line off the hard line...

Then you bend some metal, pull everything out through the top and find out you have a paul walker fuel pump O.o

Sigh, I noticed after hitting it with PB blaster it didn't do anything...so I'll finish this tomorrow when I give a shit. Today, it can sit as it is.
