In order to delete the balance shafts you have to remove the motor to get access to the oil pump assembly in so you can make the proper modifications. Maybe you can get enough clearance if you drop the one side down, but that does not sound like fun.... anyways do a compression test. That will reveal if its mechanical or electrical. i think ur timing is off. Even if you balance shaft alignment makes are wrong it will run good it just will have a abnormal amount of vibration.

i was a tooth off, car is now fixed and running great. thanks everyone for the advice
