Looking For advice (possibly help) on my 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse gs
Unfortunately, I was at the wrong end of a recent accident and I creamed the front of my car pretty good in the accident. The wheel housing excluding the actual strut attachment area was bent badly as well as the radiator support on my vehicle. Luckily, I hit a jeep taller than my bumper brace so my airbag never deployed. I was able to limp the car home (only a mile from the accident) and it sits in my garage now waiting to be fixed. This is my first time ever one a forum so im sorry for the long winded speech so ill get right to the point.
Ive heard from some people that it is still fixable and i can keep the body to this car that i have loved so much or should i junk it and try to put my engine and tranny in another shell. Which one would be cheaper and which one seems like the faster fix. Its my only vehicle for school and work and i had to drop out of school because of the accident. Let me know what yall think and please include similar stories or things that might be useful to my situation.
