You need more than the turbo to make it work (I think a 1G exh mani). I'm not sure because I've never done this myself, but I know you can't just put the turbo on there. I think this is why most people go with a bigger turbo upgrade (16G).

the manifold will work, remember chris, on a 1G, 2G exhaust manifold is an upgrade , to get a 14B to work on a 2G, you need to have a modified lower intercooler pipe, the correct oil line and correct water line....and dont forget about a J-pipe....it'll prove a significant increase over your stock T25, but i'd still recommend spending a little time and finding a 16G, you can get them for under $400 if you look

www.turbochargers.com you can get a brand new big 16g ( in TDo5 housing ) flowing 550 for $595, you can also get it clipped for an extra $75. thats what I would do......

you don't need to clip the 16G, people have done it and haven't come up with good results

clipping a 16G does seem to yield a little bit more top end, it increases lag, but its not a laggy turbo so the lag difference is insignificant..
