You had a 420A Alex? Why did you buy a 1G turbo?
Why did everyone with a 420A buy a turbo 4G63? Because they're better, and they aren't a waste of money.

The only reason someone would want to build a 420A is to waste money
They look the same as turbos, they're just less powerful

And here's some things you might not know about m0s d3f:
1) He's 16
2) This is his first car
3) Any mod he does, he can't have his parents know about it
So telling him to learn how to drive, save his money for a turbo car until senior year (most everyone gets a new car senior year
), and sell the 420A is the wrong thing to do? I don't think so.

I never said FWD isn't fast, I said it spins
And as for FWD, more DSMers switch from FWD to AWD, than AWD to FWD.
Also, this kid doesn't KNOW what he likes, that's why he's asking. If he likes 2Gs, then getting a turbo would be better for him than the 2GNT (which is pretty much like running down the street lighting your money on fire).

To say that turboing a 2gNT is like lighting money on fire is quite possibly the most ignorant thing ive heard on here. And thats saying quite a bit. Go spout that nonsense in the 2gNT turbo forum and watch those guys show you how little you really do know about the subject. What ever happend to the hobby aspect? Just because you are looking for an 12 sec daily driver doesnt mean that everyone else is. He was simply asking what was out there. He asked what he could do to his CURRENT car, not to be told to sell it. Maybe he just wants a car that has a little pep to get him from home to school to work etc (which your car currently cant do right now...yeah lets get him one of those) In the end, maybe going turbo isnt right for him right now, but neither is up and selling his car. But to say that his current car is worthless is wrong on so many levels. So come off your high horse for a second and realize, Everyone isnt YOU.
