For anyone that cares I found this car on Autotrader and on Monday I believe I am going to go take a look at it. It seems clean but we will see.

something seems fishy about that ad... smells like a bait and switch

says it's a TSI, yet no CD player.....
the low price tag to...
something doesn't add up, doesn't make sense

Let us know what the deal with it is, I'd like to know if it's too good to be true or not.

 

it's definatly a TSI... it's leather and has the turbo muffler on it unless someone switched them out.. also turbo rims but it looks otherwise stock, check the mileage it's probably sky high... btw nothing wrong with a 2g reppin style = D

 

I thought they came with cd players though

my car came with a NT muffler

 

That car lot is around the corner from my house. I will go see if its a turbo and check the condition of it tomarrow.

 

hey the vin of the ad is invalid, chances are that it was wrecked, or stolen ,or just gay esi like mine.

 

and i most definatley know its not a turbo b/c its fwd. the talons only came w/ esi(nonturbo fwd) and tsi(turbo awd)

 

tsi is fwd as well as awd. so it could be a turbo fwd. it might be a good buy if the body is in good shape (and its AWD)..then you can 6 bolt it

 

Ive noticed all the things you have said. I emailed them about the VIN and I asked them about the milage. Also there were FWD TSI's.

Triple G that would be great if you could do that. You would save me an hour drive But they are not open on sunday. Also They have yet to reply to my emails which I sent 3 days ago...
