Well looks like its going as planned, I'll start the engine for the first time this Sunday. Any tips on before starting it for the first time?

Quick question I'll just run it for 5-10 min on about 2k rpm. Should I hook up the fuel pressure regulator? Its no big deal if I don't have any down pipe at all right? No o2 sensor... and I think thats about it... I was not even going to hook up the inter cooler or blow off but I'll do that tomorrow.

Today we tried to start it for the first time, it cranks over but it will not fire up. For some reason the spark is very weak... could that be the cause of bad ground or the timing could be wrong?

Get a new coil pack and make sure the injectors are working right.

check your coil pack ground in back of the valve cover if that is ok test ignitor with somone elses working ignitor.

Ok started it for the first time today, the problem was in the fuel pressure regulator as I had it set up wrong for some reason. Ran it at 1,500 rpm for about 10 minutes. Then started it again and did that like 2 times. I notice a small leak of oil on the side of the oil pump, its nothing major but I do NOT like it one bit. Will try to figure out exactly where its leaking from tomorrow and see how I'm going to fix that.

I just foud out today that sr's have a really low oil pressure at idle... around 10psi? I was really scared to have it run at that low of a pressure but I guess its normal...

Hopefully next week I'll have some kind of downpipe made and hook up the o2 and try to drive it...
