yeah my next project is going to be a track day/time attack s13. i really like the DSG 240rs maxi. its like one of my favorite cars. i will be getting some ideas off of that car for sure. what tires do you want to run? full slicks like hoosiers or dot r-comps like yokahomas or khumos?

That stuff is a long way off. But it depends on what I'm doing. I'd like to play around with a few DOT-R stuff first, like Toyo R888's or the Nitto ones. I would rock Hosiers or the Hankooks for time attack stuff if I ever got around to it, shits way to expensive though and I dont need anything that sticky right now. The next set of tires going on my car are 255 dunlop star spec's on all 4.

I like DSGs build but theres alot of stuff I would of done differently. Mainly engine. My end goal would be the VH45DE (cams/bolt-ons/custom intake set up/tune) with Z32 5spd (ppg gear set possibly), stripped, fully caged lightend, rear trunk area re-done, full under tray, all SPL links, Z33 brakes, 275 slicks all the way around and some other neat things I have in my head.

But after I get my car back on the road and get a few last things done to it, then I'm just going to enjoy the car and save up for a long while so I can do the VH45 swap.

I think I would buy another chassis for a full race set up. I've always planned on building a full on road race car but thats not going to be for a long time.

Thanks jordan.

yeah, mouldnt it be nice if money wasnt a problem. i wish i could start a new project soon but its gonna be a while. i may move up to VA in the mountains to my dads so i can make more money. then, maybe i can start building a new car. by the way, roanoke VA has some very nice curvy roads but none of them compare to deals gap.
oh, and i was at cory's house warming party bon fire thing. i dont know if you know who i am or not. i was hanging out with steve, we were kind of across the fire from you.

ohhh, i must have gotten some wrong info from someone then! sorry about that, but anyways, hopefully i get to see your car when its done. keep up the good work!

i dont know if you have read the thread about Art leaving, but some of us were thinking about doing a road trip up to VA to see him in june. we were thinking of driving skyline drive and blue ridge parkway down into NC then make it over to deals gap. i dont know if you would be interested or not. its not in stone yet but i hope we can make it happen.

Haha, I only know a very few people from TR personally. I cant really put very many names with faces.

I already have a plan to go up there for 3-4 days with a few friends of mine already, Im pushing for the middle of june. So if everything works out we could all meet up there. I'd really like to make 2 trips up there if possible. I'd like to make it back some time in august as well.
