just finished the v160 swap. took me two hours to do the swap and 2.5 hrs to do the tranny mount

had to cut the shifter tunnel (if you want it to fit perfect you have to short the tripod about three inches

I hope you plan on going with a better clutch, especially if your planning on doing any racing from a dig. That thing would fry in a heart beat. Everything is looking good though. How's the shifter in 2nd,4th, and 6th? Hit the center console at all?

 

yes is on the to do list, hopefully next month (i am waiting on payments from the parts i took out off the car) . I am getting a custom made spec twin disc rated to 1100 ft/lbs torque . I am also waiting on a wilwood 3/4 bore master clutch cylinder , solid bushings for the diff and tommy is gonna let me use his brother subframe that way i can fabricate the diff mounts with the less amount of down time possible. also got to install abs hub and sensor for the traction control and roque is fabricating my surge tank for the weldon . hopefully the car will be ready on kill mode by may. reverse is the only one that touch a little in the right rear corner . This transmission is so smooth, shifting is unveliebable .
oh i forgot i got to redo the tranny mount .i did it at 10pm with some scrap metal i had laying around lol
