That's what I have been hearing. But mainly from people who belong in a kitchen and not on a drag strip or any where near drag racing. The car is going to pick up a lot of power once that horrible exhaust leak is fixed and the cams are in. People don't understand how an exhaust leak pre turbo can affect spool, torque and in turn hp. People don't understand how much of a bottleneck stock 2JZ cams are. That 592whp SC300 I tuned. His car started at 440whp @ 23lbs. Went to 476whp @ 21lbs. Went to 540whp @ 21lbs. And finally 592whp @ 19lbs. Progression. Finding out what works. What does not work? An exhaust leak pre turbo. Alignment being off. And stock 2JZ cams.

 

don't forget bad alternator ,wastegate line melting ,the damn aem problem and dyno problems (what a friday the 13th lol). all these have been addresed. i still got to fix the leak and the aligment

 

oh and stock cams but not us cams jdm cams even smaller
