i doubt I will not see a stream of stupid comments from you as this thread gets posts, I forgot we all have endless supply of money like you do for super cool mad builds. sorry, have mad bills, and my parents don't give me money or pay for my shit. couldn't afford the the rays or the cf racing seats or the $4000 dollar paint job to get your approval. O heres my BC head. titanium retainers, springs, bc valves ect. The journal is fucked so I have a head from a 98 that im transferring the internals too right now. o and tim hahha its soooooOOOOo funny I polished my brake booster. i know fuckin GAY right? o and sleeving my wire harness SOOOOOO laaaaaammme....

you didn't put the pistons in with oil did you?

that BMC looks halfway decent... i'm building on low funds too man, i know what it's like... people will talk shit (including myself) but take it as a grain of salt, as long as you're happy in the end...

you didn't really oil up cyl walls did you?

yea, I have been told to do this from a couple of people on diffrent forums. I lightly oiled the walls and piston skirt. I don't care if some one pokes fun at shit of mine I know my cars a pice, but osama tim ladens posts are ignorant some times. Theirs being a dick, and then theirs acting like you are some japannese car judge. atleast I didnt roller paint my car or spray paint it put retarded ass rims on it like a ton of people do to 240s. I havent bought rims yet, but the shit Ive done as far as motor and accessories and sleeving the harness is a good start at restoring the car. isnt bad In my opinion as far as stuff bought for the car. THe hood looks shitty but whatever.

I will post pic of rear tomorrow. Its just a stock s13 bumper tho. I tore down my project if thats the laugh you were hoping for lol.

helps the rings seat to the the walls... after honing, the walls a still a bit rough, the rings will smooth out the walls, and seat better, (lube, IMO, would prevent proper seating as the rings would slide over minor imperfections, and not smooth them out, correct me if i'm wrong someone...)

at least that's what Don Ahrens does, and he builds his own race motors (L24/28's for his 280Z SCCA E Prod car), and his other race motors for his customers SCCA Miatas, 240z's, 280z's etc... he's been competing in the SCCA for over 30 years, so what he says to be is golden...

clean the walls, use conventional oil for first 2-3000 miles, while changing oil every 2-400 miles...
