Learn the way you want, this day in age people simply learn w/ a welded, I learned open diff, like a lot of people did, It helps not to rely souly on cluck-kick initiation...anyway, I'm not going to get into a how to drift conversation, back on topic.
OH nooo lol.. put it down and go to the track, experience will be the only thing that makes you suceed
The video's great, but seriously, Track time will be better

my buddy has a practice car and near where i live is a large section of un-used dirt road with some good corners. good places for feint, side, clutchkick and shift lock drifting. im getting prety good. i went and test drove an rx-8 the other day, and went drifting arou nd the gulf veiw mall parking lot, behind the mall itself. i found im not that bad on tarmac either.
anyways. i put the alternator on it today and it runs. Hooray! only thing is now it still studders a bit all the way up to 4k. it could either be 1) the MAF or 2) the distributor timing needs to be fiddled with a tiny bit more.
i took it to a buddys house and he said that the engine may have a little counter weight system in the engine that runs off a tiny belt and that may be off timing a little but im not sure the KA has one of those. im pretty sure its the distributor.
Gimmie some tips
