anyways. i put the alternator on it today and it runs. Hooray! only thing is now it still studders a bit all the way up to 4k. it could either be 1) the MAF or 2) the distributor timing needs to be fiddled with a tiny bit more.
i took it to a buddys house and he said that the engine may have a little counter weight system in the engine that runs off a tiny belt and that may be off timing a little but im not sure the KA has one of those. im pretty sure its the distributor.

and I also don't know how comfortable I feel about that big cut in the radiator support... you do know that is a structural support for the chassis... as in it gets load in cornering... I can see that thing bending when you hit your first hard corner... might want to consider fixing that....

Ack. ill keep a good eye on it, but your right i may end up having to get that wielded up. =/
yea that guys advice was wrong. it was the timing. me and Petess13 got that all fixed up and running nicely.
also im painting thats rims tomorrow. the pink has got to go and when i sell this RC car on craigs list im gonna start getting some nicer things for it.

Look at it this way Dude, At least you have a S13. Just take your time and enjoy and learn at the same time. If It was me I would paint the dashboard Black. It just takes time and you can look back 6-12 months from now and say "This S13 looks great!"

hah, thanks dude. thats kinda what i was hoping this would turn out like =D too bad i lost my job and im scraping cash out from to bottom of the barrel right now >.< but once i sell some of this crap on craigslist ill be able to insure it and go out looking for a new one. thanks for the words of encouragement!
