the start of an sr20 with an evo9 turbo
And yeah you're not going to feel it but do you don't have to feel something for it to be doing it's job.

Nobody said "fuck it" they didint have the room to work with, do you read. There is no sense in putting in retard sharp bends to pair the runners, it would be redundant, think. Yep super engineer . That was 1 of many reasons for bottom mount including angle of the wastegate, not having to buy new intercooler piping, dump tube design, not boiling his BMC, etc. Ya he should of listed all of that initially but he didn't, whatever.

worrying about lower cg on anything but a formula car is 100% stupid to me.
i bet this thing runs off the shelf suspension, nexen tires, and never sees any sort of racetrack outside of ccc.

Ok just got back from a small vacation. Since everyone wants to go on about a lower center of gravity. IF you know anything about cars you know that it is best to have your weight low to the ground. I dont know why everyone has a prob realizing this.
OK so if you read anything on this thread you would see where I said and I quote myself "Im sure its not going to make a noticeable difference" So i dont think we need to talk about that anymore.
Now to ask you a question Osama Tim Laden
And I quote "i bet this thing runs off the shelf suspension, nexen tires"
Ok What is your definition of off the shelf suspension ??? what r u talking about?? coilovers, suspension arms?? Well seeing how I get free tires i dont really care what kind I run as long as there 235/45/17
Thank u B18C5-EG
No one said "fuck it" somethings just dont work and that did not work. If you guys check out the pics in the blog. You will clearly see that our work is perfection and will never crack or break.
Thank u to everyone for the positive commets.

Just my observation with my last twinscroll manifold and T3 turbo... They weight about the same. Schedule 80 stainless pipe isn't light by any means, and it looks like that manifold has some length to it. Some people like to debate the extra downpipe length, but we all know that it's made with thin-wall and mathematically insignificant.
If you do want to play the weight game, I'd be more concerned with putting a heavy turbo with a heavy manifold on the same side of the car as the driver. That's probably not helping the cross weights.

Need to switch to RHD, that will solve his cross weight issues, AND he will be LOW CG due to his super low mount turbo.

full on track cars can take a lot more liberties with shit than a street car. bell bottom kits and crazy wheel fitment look cool sliding on a track, but when i want to drive to taco bus, im going to ruin all of that shit. so it just doesnt work for me. function over fashion.

heres my basic overview of how this car will be setup.
correct me if you need.
some cheap coilovers. probably megan/ksport.
cheap tires, nexen at the best. most likely free.
cheap suspension mulilink, if any at all.
real basic setup, just a normal 240sx tampa spec car.
then some over thought, under executed turbo setup.
