how to install a FPR on single cam.
ok i bought a OEM FPR and i need to install it on my single cam, i was just wondering if i could just take the old one off and put the new one on?
or if i have to set the fuel pressure some other way? its OEM so i dont think i have to set any settings.
thanks for the help.

I must have missed something... this is a tech question.... not a build... hmmm....
anywho, yeah, stock FPR, take one off, put the other one on...
un screw the gas cap.
you could also pull your fuel pump fuse with the car running and just let it die... I personally wouldn't do it that way, but i have had manuals say to do it that way.
The idea is, you don't really want to spray gas all over the place when you take one of the lines off. So however you want to deal with the pressure in the lines, just don't be surprised by it.
Other than that, install is just the reverse of removal.

for single cam ka's is very difficult, the FPR is against the firewall. you can't get any leverage to get the screws off. i was told that i had to pull off the fuel rail and do it that way. if anyone has a better suggestion for taking the FPR off of a single cam let the world know!
