I should be buying a rear damaged 03 SE-R sentra tomorrow for cheap and i am thinking about throwing the QR in the P10 g20 i have that is awaiting a motor. I have a full SR20DE motor set for the G20 but swapping this QR25de seems cooler. It should be pretty straight foward...hopefully

i should complete the whole project for less than 500
150$ G20 with Sr20de 5spd motor
250$ 2003 Running SE-R
-Sell the SR motor set
-Sell the extra parts from the SE-R
I just want to get peoples opinions on it before i do it. I should have pictures of everything tomorrow

Well the build is kinda going on.... yeah i know its fail right now

Right now the Clean G20 is motorless, so i will get pictures

 

It has been done in a B13 so it can be done in a P10. I say do it.

well i have a complete qr now, the only thing i am going to need is advice.
The only thing that has confused me so far is what to do with the Drive by wire. Should i just swap the gas pedal and whatever module it has from the 02 Ser into the G20?
I haven't torn into it yet so i have no idea how the drive by wire system works.


Oh and maybe i will be in the market for a 5spd or 6spd that bolts to that motor

You need the pedal assembly Doug.

 

I thought so after looking it over. I pulled the dash bar, dash, and engine harness to the g20 and took measurements. The 02 Se-r dash should fit right in.
The stock strut tower bar should fit as well.
