Is it that hard to fix the ac vent from the back? If you have problems fixing that then I just dont know.

 

Well, there were little clips that kept the thing in place, I'm guessing, but whoever changed the radio broke them off, so it's impossible to lock it in anymore. I could just seal it with some sort of adhesive, but I wanna brainstorm a bit more before I seal it off. I may need to get back in there at some point.

I simply said that it would be a wise decision to actually try and fix some of the problems with the car rather than try and cover them up with a band-aid. No need to get all butt hurt about it. I went back and read my first post, I deleted the second part about the car being a pos. I didn't mean to sound like a jerk and that was a pretty mean thing to say. I apologize for that. I live near USF and I'd be glad to help you out with some of the stuff that's messed up if you need a hand. I know what it's like not having alot of $. Didn't mean to get off on the wrong foot or anything. To get a better idea of where the oil leaks are coming from on the car. Clean off the motor with brake parts cleaner and park it over cardboard overnight. Older parts that usually need replacement on these engines are the front and rear main seal, valve cover gasket, and the oil pan seal. The oil pan is kind of a bitch on ka's because the pan is huge. If you have a hoist available, that makes life a lot easier. RTV ultra grey is what I would recommend for that. As far as the ac bezel, if you get some gorilla glue, you can buy similar clips to the ones that broke off at ace hardware, glue them in place and that would give the dash something to grab onto when you put the bezel back in. Cover the distributor and maf with a plastic bag, also be careful not to soak the are where your spark plug wires go into the top of the valve cover if the rubber seals aren't completely covering the holes chances are you'll soak the plugs and your car won't start. Gunk engine bright gel is pretty good stuff. I wouldn't worry too much about the alternator as long as you don't soak it, it should be alright. If you have bare metal exposed from the crash it's likely to develop rust so you might want to take that into consideration before you do anything.

Not too shabby. Engine first, basic exterior second, then interior. When you can afford it, hit up a junk yard and get those body panels and you'll be gold. After you fix the leaks and other miscellaneous problems in the bay first, of course, lol.
