The start..... HA
I want to but me and my dad did it last week.
From the way it looks I have to cut in the ridge next to the windows like we did his.
When we rewelded in the new one the tips of the got covered in weld splatter. Melted right through a paint clothe. The last foot or so has glass at every ppoint so I dont see how I could weld indie that crack w.o having to remove the windows.I am considering finding the toughest glue known to man and glueing on a new piece of this sheet metal but then the edges would look stupid.
I have tried to not even think about the roof. Its going black so It is unimportant right now.I am a very good artist so I was considering doing a japanese style wave mural on it ( to go with the crinckle wavy f'd up roof theme). Anyways, Unsure as of now what will become of that part.

shouldnt have any sort of gap, if you have a short segment in between the piece you are installing, and where its supposed to meet up, a skim coat of body filler over it will take care of things, that is if you dont just let the panel bond bridge the gap, and then sand it.
3M 08115 Panel Bonding Adhesive
I have the gun for it, if you want to use it, just got to give me a deposit so I get it back.
