its casey's car from xat. he says its running 327 at 20 psi with a t28. this seems a bit far fetched? or no. i'm looking into buying her, and just want a little more power.
so race mani,t4 turbo, a head gasket. tune, and we be good?

^ have you ever had a 240sx that makes over 300 horsepower..? A t4 is a huge turbo btw.

Oh you bought Casey's car? Sweet. That car is pretty fast.
300hp is perfect unless your going to be a super cool fast drag guy.

lol no super cool drag guy here. more like a super duper slider guy. lol

ive had mustangs with 350+, no my last 240s had no where close to 330.

in the process of buying it. waiting for a reply from casey to meet up.

its pretty fast? any other thoughts from any that know the car? im reluctant to spend more than 6 grand on a 240. but am willing to for the right car. turbos are a new thing to. im used to N?A raw american power. my last sr had a rinky dink fist sized t25

300hp is essentially the perfect range of hp you'd want for sliding imo.. just the perfect median.

Dont touch the motor, put your money into a diff, tires and steering work.

With the rest of the stuff in that car, I'd put forth the money for something a little better than a J30

And like sean said if you are looking to slide, i'd say leave the turbo alone, I thought you wanted to actually go fast and thats why you were looking for 400+ hp, a turbo thats going to make the big numbers is going to induce some lag and not be as ideal for drift.

From what I remember looking at the car was very nice, as far as the differential you'd want to look at maybe a cusco, or kaaz, there is a guy selling a kaaz right now locally I believe, though gearing is going to depend on what turbo you end up with and a few other things for proper selection.
