1989 Nissan D21 DD project (first car/first project)
UPDATE: I wanna apologize for not updating the thread because I get off school and then work everyday until 5, at which time where I'm exhausted and forget about working.
Not to mention how fast it gets dark.
But I still have to vacuum all the leaves and shit out of there.
My friend Justin is gonna see if he can borrow a welder and we'll see if we can't fix up those holes in the floor.
On top of the floor, I have to paint the door jams and behind the seats, get a replacement floor mat with no tears, dye all the trim pieces to match each other, and then put it all together.
Oh and fix the damn leak in the windshield.
Just stay tuned and I'll try and get more work done so you guys don't forget about this thread.
Thanks man.
Glad to see someone is still looking at this thread.

I'm going for an old school look with an agressive stance.
I do plan on getting rid of the sawblade wheels but I'll have to work it out as I've got multiple people who want them, and I'd want wheels to put on it instead of just leaving it on jacks.
I'm not interested in removing them now as I've got my hands full with the interior, as you can see.

With those seats being in the truck, you might want to look into cutting and flipping a stock shifter. It will make it sit pretty low, that truck that Joe has actually used to have one that I did.

It would be 1000 easier, to use a frontier KA24DE with a 240sx head (for intake and cams.) And using a stock transmission would be easier and cheaper, its the same internally just the box is shorter. You wont need a new driveshaft, you wont need new motor mounts or a modified oil pan.. Over all its just a ton easier and cheaper..
And its the same parts...

They all had the KA24DE as an option, its the same motor as a 240 just different cams and intake manifold. The oil pan is rear sump like the hardbody, so its bolt in wire up then drive off.
It will bolt to your stock transmission, you can use your stock flywheel w/ a clutch made for the 300zx if you want power. That's what I did, in that hardbody I had.

can't use a 240sx head on a frontier motor. frontier's have the distributor in the block, 240sx has it in the head.
you can use 240sx cams in a frontier head though
