Sorry guys.
I don't know how to redirect a thread to another section.
The best I can do is put the link here, making it to where you guys don't have to click the one in my sig.
Maybe if a mod sees it they can do it?
Again, I apologize for the inconvenience.
Check it out here: https://www.tamparacing.com/forums/m...t-project.html

Here you go, although it's only my posts and not accurate as this is all over the course of a few days, the last one being today.
I will try my best to remember to update this along with the one in the "Member's Rides" section to keep whoever wants to read this thread updated with how the truck is doing.
And Blackzenki, I'm following your build thread, and I like how the S14 is coming along.

-->Start here<--

I'd like to start this off with this isn't your typical Harbody build. I have no plans on dropping it any lower than it sits now. It is going to be my daily driver yet still be fun and easy on the eyes. Dad surprised me with it, only payed 500 for it.^.^

Interior is kinds rough, but not much worse than you'd expect from a 20 year-old truck. Tears in the seat, cracks in the dash, and a golfball-sized hole in the driver side floorboard.
Gonna swap the bench out for Pathfinder bucket seats as soon as I find the time. Also have to paint the interior to match the outside, as you may have notived by my red doors, lmao.

Engine bay/Exterior
I have resprayed the underspoiler/lip whatever you wanna call it, resprayed my engine bay flat black, and am gonna do the same to the hood, and I have ordered driver and passenger side corner lights and a new taillight which should be here in about a week or two. There are some bad spots in the paint but I have future plans of a color change, but not in the near future.

^Hole in bed^

^sanded and primered the air cleaner cover because of surface rust^

Like a day or two later..
UPDATE: Got my fog lights, my tach, and my new lights.

happy dance rofl.^.^

Yesterday..

UPDATE!: I got my air cleaner cover painted!
I figured since I had my cover off, I'd do the cleaner itself, then the valve cover itself.
Here are some pics.

^sanded and primered^

Engine was clean and the timing was tight.

^Can you say stripped?^

The damn stripped nut took me nearly half an hour but with vice grips I broke it loose and loosened it with a regular screwdriver.
I found that the previous owner siliconed an old gasket under the valve cover, but the truck is fine.
I have to wait until tomorrow to put her all together but I just though I'd share with you some pics.
Tell me what you guys think.

Few minutes ago.

UPDATE: Got some goodies from AutoZone and the local hardware store.
Here are a few pics.

^I ended up not needing the washers, haha.^

After fighting with my pos ratchet, I finally got her all put together.(for now anyway)
Here is the finished product.

looks pretty good so far, glad to see you're doing a resto instead of slapping it all together...

and you should run that VC line to the filter housing nipple like it should be ran, that little filter isn't for shit... that line is there for a reason...

UPDATE:
I bought some stuff from my buddy he pulled off his '93.
My truck is a mess.
I'm gutting the majority of the interior to redo it, I will post pics when It's relatively empty.
Here are a few pics of the new gauge cluster(which I have to splice to make my harness work), and the new dash, which is a major improvement from my old one.
