Ok before anyone starts ragging me understand that this project cost me like 25 bucks and a bunch of time. Car is a 89 240sx hatch.(free) engine is a 90 lincon mk7 lsc 5.0 ho with rodknock(free).rod main and piston rings have been replaced.I am currently in the middle of the project. So far I have lowered the subframe 2 inches,fabbed motor/trans mounts,started on the exhaust and adjusted the steering shaft to clear the header. And made the oil pan fit. Anybody wants details or pics im me. Just thought it would catch somebody eye lol only money I have in it is in spark plugs and oil. Everything else was provided by aggravated injection located at 49th st and 62nd ave in st-Pete

OK. Update. Everything is installed. Found out 9 lifters were faulty so I broke 4 of them and two rockers before I even drove it. Everything is back together new and unused. Going to install intake manifold tommorrow and drive for first time. Jw..... When/where is the next meet?

i was wanting to do just this same swap in my two tone coupe...

 

beleave it or not its a fairly easy swap....steering is the hardest part if to dont want to flip the header upside down(i didn't do that. it looks dumb )..as far as the ecu powering it up only took 2 grounds 1 constant power and two keyed power to make it run..havent done gadges yet cus im running safc soon and it has a tack,i have gps speedo on my phone so all i need is a temp and check engine light...car will be painted soon and for sale afterwards,have not thought if price yet..if all goes well on test drive tomorrow i will be at the sunday meet at parkside mall or where ever it is now,if anybody wants to look at it
