Finally finished my 1uz s13
it feels awesome. pulls every gear like mad. Its not too fast but it is real fun to drive. 1st and 2nd are useless with any serious throttle input. It gets to 90 in a hurry though. the factory rear gear for the trans is a 3.7x and it has a 4.08 so it is real quick through the gears. Car handles just as good as it did with the SR in it. I will be getting it on the scales soon enough to get a real number and front to rear %.

Sell that SR and do the swap tim. You can basically do the whole swap with selling your sr setup at a reasonable price.

id really only be into it with a 2uz i think. and that probably shoots the cost up a ton.

i'm about to order my 1uz for my ma70. its more of a cool swap than practical. they sound good on paper but they useually dyno 175-200 wheel... not exactly a ton of power. the 3uz's dyno way higher, night and day, well over 50 horse more.
2uz's are quite heavy.
the 1uz (4.0) has 6 bolt mains
2uz (4.7) has 2 bolt mains
and the 3uz (4.3) has 4 bolt mains, ironic that the truck motor is the weakest of the three.
i just want something fun to drive. i've got no intrest in making my ma70 a rocket. i just want the cool sound that comes out of my exhaust.
what are you doing for exhaust? i'm not sure if i want to run dual side by side 2.25 exhaust or if i want to run it through the skirts.
hella bad ass project though. i'm sure in a S14 it will be much more fun.
