I used that VHT paint too and even baked it in my oven... It still flaked off and it's only been a year and a half. That turbo manifold gasket will fail on you too. I'd invest in an oem mls one. I'm liking the manifold, but you should have gotten it hpc coated instead!

Damn really? was it cleaned like mine when you painted it? Did you primer it too?

Yeah I got one I was just using that one to cover the flange to keep the mating surface clean

Trust me I wish I could have but couldn't find a place locally to do it.
I was just gonna use the Stocky as a back up but will probably rip off the XS Power one now.....

Yeah, mine was super clean. It was a mild steel log manifold. It looked great for a while, but then it flaked off under the constant heat. I followed the instructions perfectly too and heat cycled it in the oven.

So two of my injectors pintle caps had a finger broken off so I was gonna pull them out and replace them with my SR's when I saw this

EEEWWWWY

Good thing I pulled them out so now I sent them off to get cleaned and flow tested, They are on their way back now

Got in my Power Steering line for the RB

Swapped out the XS power manifold for the cleaned up stocker.

While the wife was swapping out the manifolds I was cleaning up the IM
I shaved all the big bumps in the runners

All the aluminum that was removed

This is a great build. Keep up the good work. Only thing i would do diff would be a quality aftermarket tubular ex mani. or have one made custom. but thats just me. stocker works just as well and wont crack. like you said, tubular would look better. Anywho +1 for you

Trust me I would love to have a tubular manifold, but I cannot find a reasonable priced one for the stock turbo location.

If I was going all out drift/track car then I would but not for a DD.

I know S-Tec makes one but I didnt have paypal at the time but I might in a few months

ya, agreed. They aren't very reasonably priced. You ever asked a performance shop or fabricator what it would cost, just for the hell of it to compare prices?
