Dont feel too bad, its happened to me too before, I had em leave out the trim so I could paint then install it after on one car, a week or so later a stick fell from a tree, hit the edge where the trim wasnt covering it, and voila, crackola.

i have had 3 7m cars i like the motor to a certain point lol, its like any other engine, build it right it will be gnarly if you go cheap its going to break lol. are you planning on putting it into an s-chassis or another toyota?

My S14. I don't want a common swap like SR or CA, was considering KA-T, 1jz, or 7mgte. And don't have the money for RB's and 2jz.

 

If you can't afford an RB or 2J you can't afford a 1J or 7m either... For the record 7m's are pieces of shit too.

 

RB's(Not 20) and 2jz are both more than 7mgte. I have never heard negative things about them either.
