Since i'll be going out to events now, i figure yall are going to see my car anyways so..

Story is i had a 99 g20 mint before i got my 240sx, some idiot pull out in front of me, i t-boned him, car was still drivable but got totaled out, was only suppose to get around 3500 for it but ended up getting 6k for it. Looked around and found my the car i wanted, except for the super hicas part.

1993 240sx Super Hicas w/ 180k mileage, Dec. 2008




Then bought Dmax coilovers..., Feb. 2009



Then got my Reinhard and 1 piece aluminum driveshaft.., Mar. 2009



Got tired of 4 lug and the Hicas 4 wheel steering crap, so i swaped that out with 5 lug, battles, and non hicas subframe. Also got evo calipers from a friend for mad cheap so i decided to put them on aswell., Sep. 2009




Did a little baseball bat rolling.. Oct. 2009



Fixed my stance but later found out that my front wheels would rub my coils a little at full lock, just scraped out the paint of the springs, good thing i noticed it before it got bad., Nov. 2009




Then i got 2 mustang reps 17x10.5 for the back and made 2 of the battles my drift spares. Havent decided if i want to get the 17x9 reps for the front, 10.5 wont fit in the front., Feb 2010





If i can get another job in the next week, then i should be able to piece together a little t25 kit for the car before i leave for the Air Force. Going into the Air Force in August, plan on using some of my pay to rebuild a ka and put a holset on it in the near future.

But still, neat to see a build thread on TR where someone bought a few really good parts instead of a bunch of really shitty parts. Good job man!

 

Love this car, didnt know you were going into the air force. Just get that hatch cleaned up! My roomie who was with me at CFRC last event (Really skinny white kid) is enlisted and going to be going to basic soon.

Before i start adding anything to the body, i want to get all the dents pulled and have my rear fenders pulled as well, has to look good though, probably have a shop do it for me.. Kouki tails will be going on eventually though.

 

well i know the next exhaust setup i will be buying now. car looks sweet.

 

Not into purposely mismatched wheels, but other than that looks sweet.
Those are the only mustang wheels that look good on 240's too. Well, those and the kinda split 5 spoke thingies.

 

Petitt, i recommend that you dont get this exhaust. For 600, the fitment sucks to be honest, hangs low as hell. Its the only reason why im not lower right now, but it does sound sweet in person.

Tim, i havent decided on what i want to do yet. I want to try and polish them and see if i can get them to match a little better. Maybe later on i will.

Oh and yes these mustang reps and the ones your talking about are the only ones i like. If i would have known about these wheels before i would have got them instead of battles. They're so cheap too.

 

Where were you able to find just a pair of the mustang wheels?
