Got some more work done on the car last night, working on the widebody for the rear.

Quarter panel on the car, high-five origin, cant even get the edges straight (this is why i'll be doing d-max rear widebody for my car)

Got to work drilling / spot weld cutting the welds to the lip:

Started cutting out the outer lip part of the quarter panel:

Both layers of the lip gone:

Slotted the inner fenderwell, then hammerpull time.

Tacks to hold the inner fenderwell back to the outer skin, and the widebody panel on, here you can see the actual metal lip is tucked behind the fiberglass widebody, full ability to tuck tire, no hitting anything.

Outside looking like this, pulled far enough to tuck behind the widebody

This car is RH widebody:

I'll probably be doing the left side later today, and possibly some of the other work on the car tonight.

Huh. He bought the same Takadashi 30mm origin fenders. I think someone on here named Jorge has my old ones. Either way. I'll still be keeping an eye on this thread. Looks like it should have a great turn out.

Jorge sold them to tyler, think he actually got rid of them too, pretty sure origin doesnt even make 30mm non takadashi, yet another reason i'll go d-max.

They fit OK, its just a lot of little things that I liked about the d-max over the origin,

Dmax has the rivet locations, little depressions that are already properly spaced, the origin has nothing, i'll have to play the measure and mark game on these

Dmax actually matched up with the body lines, the origin's arent even cut straight.

Dmax is avail 30mm without the fender pull look, which i hate, and include the gas door add-on, the origin did not.

When im done though, on his car it wont matter, people will just drool.
